
LOS ANGELES, March 7, 2019 – Hillsides, a foster care and mental health charity, will host an Open House for the Bienvenidos Family Resource Center, East Los Angeles, located at 5400 E. Olympic Blvd., 1st Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90022, on Thursday, March 21.
The event will be held from 3 - 5 p.m. with a brief program at 4 p.m. The Open House will also include a tour and light refreshments. Service providers, community dignitaries and leaders, and Hillsides’ supporters are invited. To attend, please RSVP to Bianca Gutierrez at bguitierrez1@hillsides.org by March 19.
ienvenidos, an affiliate of Hillsides, has been in the East Los Angeles community for more than 30 years, but recently moved offices to consolidate services and gain more space and treatment rooms. The East Los Angeles office, which serves some 500 clients, offers mental health services, school-based services, a family preservation program to keep families together, and wraparound services that provide team-based support for children with mental health needs. Project SAFE-LA, an HIV, Hepatitis C, and substance abuse prevention program for youth ages 13 – 24 who live in East Los Angeles, is also housed at the location.
