LOS ANGELES, December 18, 2018 – Corporate Center Pasadena, a four-building complex in South Lake Avenue’s business and shopping district, has “adopted” 30 in-need families over the holidays for Hillsides, a Southern California foster care and mental health charity.  The holiday wishes of the families are being answered by the tenants in the complex. Brittany Sojka, tenant services coordinator at Corporate Center Pasadena, suggested partnering with Hillsides to her co-workers.  They unanimously agreed to adopt families for the holidays.

  LOS ANGELES, December 7, 2018 – Local realtor Eva Lin and her team at Lin Realty Group in Pasadena donated 50 new bicycles and helmets to the children living at Hillsides residential treatment program.   The company also enlisted employees, clients, friends, and family to build the bikes on the Hillsides campus during the “Lin Realty Group’s Inaugural Bike Build & Donation Party.”

LOS ANGELES, CA December 6, 2018 – On December 4, the Hillsides Guild, a support group of the foster care charity Hillsides, hosted a holiday celebration at the Parkway Grill in Pasadena, California. Some 140 guests enjoyed cocktails, appetizers, dinner and a holiday performance by the renowned Citrus Singers of Citrus College. We provide home-based family care (formerly known as foster care) to help children and youth heal from the effects of trauma. Included in the home-based care are treatment and adoption services for children and youth ranging from newborn to 21 years old. >
Our centers offer numerous community-based programs and services that provide parenting classes, mental health support, and additional crucial resources for vulnerable children and families throughout Los Angeles County, including the San Gabriel Valley and Pasadena. >
We offer comprehensive family support and individual mental health treatment for children and adolescents, ages 6 to 17. This program includes a Residential Treatment Center (RTC), a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), as well as coordinated family and aftercare programming. >
Youth Moving On, with support from The Everychild Foundation, provides former foster youth affordable quality housing and numerous support services to help them become responsible, self-sufficient adults. >
